How to use this tool

  1. Open this PageSpeed Score Checker page on w3speedster.com.
  2. Paste the full page URL you want to test into the Enter URL To Analyze field (include https://).
  3. Click Analyze Performance and wait while the tool fetches mobile and desktop insights.
  4. Read the scores in the results area (and any performance alert popup), then use the ranges below to judge if the result is good, needs work, or poor.
  5. Re-test the same URL after you change caching, images, or scripts so you can compare before and after.

How to read your PageSpeed results

After you click Analyze Performance, the tool returns Performance scores and related metrics for mobile and desktop (0-100). Here is how to interpret them:

  • 90-100 (good) - Strong experience for most users. Keep monitoring after theme, plugin, or content changes.
  • 50-89 (needs improvement) - Usable but leaving speed, SEO, and conversion gains on the table. Prioritize LCP, unused JS/CSS, and image weight first.
  • 0-49 (poor) - Visitors are likely bouncing. Fix render-blocking assets, oversized media, weak caching, and heavy third-party tags before adding more features.

What to do next: Compare mobile vs desktop (mobile is usually harder), re-test the same URL after each change, then apply caching, image, and script optimization with W3Speedster if scores stay under 90.
