Strategy
The approach behind the results below was deliberate: optimize the live site with a controlled performance stack instead of rebuilding the theme or stacking more “speed” plugins.
What we chose: diagnose the worst Core Web Vitals on priority URLs first, then apply W3Speedster caching, image, and script rules in a staged order, and verify with before/after PageSpeed on those same URLs.
Why this over the alternatives:
- vs. full redesign / theme rebuild – rebuilds take weeks, risk content and SEO regressions, and often still leave LCP/CLS problems if assets are not optimized. A product-led stack delivers measurable gains without taking the site offline.
- vs. adding more overlapping cache/image plugins – multiple optimizers frequently fight each other, inflate TTFB, and make debugging impossible. One coherent configuration is faster to tune and safer to roll back.
- vs. “set and forget” CDN-only automation – useful for quick wins, but less transparent when a custom theme or checkout breaks. Our strategy keeps control on-site so agencies can see which rule fixed which metric.
- vs. manual-only coding sprints – one-off developer patches do not scale across templates and are hard to maintain after plugin updates. Repeatable product settings plus targeted checks scale better across client sites.
